How to Undo Email in Gmail


One of the best features in Gmail is the ability to undo send emails in Gmail. This is crucially important to those people who always use their Gmail at work in a daily basis because at some point in time, you will inevitably make mistake in one of your emails.

However, Gmail undo send feature only lasts for 30 secs maximum but you can choose from a period of 5, 10, 20 and 30 secs.

And you will see a notification where you want to view or undo the email right after you send it. When you click “undo” button, a compose message box will pop up with your email as draft which gives you time to edit your email.

Enabling undo email in Gmail is not very difficult implement. In just two minutes you can set it up worry free of sending wrong emails.

Step 1. Click the gear icon on the right up corner of your browser.


Step 2. A pop up window will appear and you’ll need click “settings” which brings you to the Gmail settings page.


Step 3. In the settings page, you need to find “undo send” section.

That’s it. You are all set.
